At-Home Ways to Care For Your Skin

With the outbreak of COVID-19, we are temporarily closed to put the safety of our team and our community first. However, now is the perfect time to focus on your skincare routine now that you don’t need to constantly wear makeup. Here are some tips from our team about taking care of your skin while you’re spending time at home. 

Cleanse Twice/Day

Make sure to wash your face twice a day with a gentle, natural cleanser to clean your pores and reduce the bacteria on your skin. Ideally, you should wash your skin in the morning and in the evening. Remember, using a makeup wipe is not the equivalent of washing your face!

Moisturize Daily

Regardless of the type of skin that you have, make sure to use a daily moisturizer. Maintaining a healthy moisture balance in your skin helps prevent dryness and flakiness while keeping skin cells performing at their most optimal levels. 

Drink Plenty of Water

Wear SPF

Gently Exfoliate

Whether you choose a chemical or a physical exfoliant, doing so can remove dead skin cells from your face. Make sure to look for ingredients like alpha-hydroxy acids that are found naturally in fruit.
