The Basics of Building an At-Home Skincare Routine

Building an at-home skincare routine can help you achieve healthy, glowing skin that sets you up for future success. The goal of your skincare routine is simple: help your skin look and feel its best. You’ll want to target areas that you want to work on. Simply put, your skincare routine should consist of cleansing, toning and moisturizing.

  • Toning: This step helps balance out the skin tone and complexion. Think of toners as a shot of extra nutrients to help your skin thrive. Toners should be used after you clean your face but before putting on other skincare products.
  • Moisturizing: Help keep your skin hydrated and soft through a good moisturizer. If possible, choose a moisturizer that contains SPF as well. This will help you combine multiple steps in your routine.
