What does the procedure entail?

Whether you decide that a breast augmentation or a breast lift is the right option for you, it is important to always choose an experienced surgeon that you feel comfortable with. A breast augmentation involves either silicone or saline implants, and they will be inserted either beneath or outside of the muscle. The implants will be inserted either in the lower crease between the breast and ribs or around the areola. A breast lift is often paired with a breast augmentation, but a lift involves removing and tightening excess skin around the breast.

This information will then be taken into consideration during the physical exam.
