Face Lift

A facelift (also known as a rhytidectomy) is one of the most commonly performed procedures, can provide a remarkable improvement in your appearance. As we age, the skin begins to loosen on the face and neck – the jaw line softens into jowls and a double chin appears. By surgically removing excess skin and fat, the goal of a face lift in Naperville, is to improve the overall facial appearance. A facelift will not stop the aging process, however, it will give you a healthier and more youthful appearance.
It takes approximately 2 1/2 hours to complete. Following the procedure, a dressing is worn over the cheek and neck areas for the first 24 hours. There is minimal to no pain associated with this procedure. All sutures are removed within 10 days and some degree of swelling and/or bruising is likely. Usually, two weeks is needed prior to returning to work.* Contact us for a Naperville facelift.
Mid Face Lift
As we age, gravity causes a loss of elasticity of the skin and underlying tissues. The result is not only a change in the jowl and neck area but also a change in the lower eyelid and cheek. As the cheek descends a hollow appearance develops along the lower orbital rim. This creates a tired appearance. It is essential to address this area to restore a natural youthful appearance. A midface lift elevates the soft tissue of the mid cheek and lifts this back to the upper cheek and lower eyelid area. It takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Following the procedure, a dressing is worn over the cheek and neck areas for the first 24 hours. There is minimal to no pain associated with this procedure. All sutures are removed within 10 days and some degree of swelling and/or bruising is likely. Usually, two- four weeks are needed prior to returning to work.*
Mini Facelift
A Mini Face Lift is appropriate for people who are just beginning to experience the first signs of aging but do not want to wait to undergo more intensive surgery. This procedure is effective in lifting the jowl area and is very popular due to the minimal down time. The procedure involves a limited incision in the front of the ear and generally a patient may return to work or activies within 6 to 7 days.*
