Halo Skin Rejuvenation / Resurfacing
As time goes on, skin often loses its youthful appearance due to a variety of factors, including exposure to the sun and the normal aging process, which is different for every person. Subsequently, you may experience issues, such as fine lines, sun spots and a loss of its natural luster. In the past, lasers couldn’t resolve these issues. These treatments were often too shallow or too deep. Halo skin rejuvenation gets rid of skin damage by precisely targeting the correct depth with technology that has been finely honed over the last several years. Halo skin resurfacing services in Naperville, Bolingbrook, Aurora & Lisle, IL, restore the youthful appearance you want.

What are the expected results?
The Halo skin rejuvenation treatment improves your overall skin texture and tone, as well as removes significant discoloration, reduces pore size, improves skin reflectivity, glow and reduces fine lines*.
How many sessions will I need?
Halo skin resurfacing is fully customizable, which means you choose how many treatments are best for you. We will go over what you want from your treatments and help you make the right decision. You can select a small number of aggressive treatments or choose a larger number of less invasive treatments for the same result that takes a little longer.
What should I expect from treatment?
Approximately 30 minutes to an hour before your appointment, we may apply a topical anesthetic to the area to help reduce sensation. Motion tracking technology is used to measure the area to ensure an even treatment. We then move the Halo device over the measured area until the Halo system notifies us of completion.
What does it feel like?
The devices have integrated cooling technology, and when combined with the local anesthetic, you can expect to experience some discomfort. Many patients have likened the feeling to heat with some prickling sensations with an overall feeling of comfort. Many individuals have also reported feeling warmth for about an hour following the procedure. This may last longer, depending on the depth of your treatment.
When can I resume normal activity?
It’s critical to protect your skin for at least 24 hours after your procedure, per our instructions. However, you can resume normal activities immediately after treatment. The following day, your skin will peel, but you can apply makeup at this time. Using Halo skin rejuvenation on the face typically produces few results right away. However, by day two or three, you should see the light bronzing. On the third or fourth day, your skin peels to reveal the new skin.
When will I see results?
Initial results typically take two to five days after your treatment. However, your skin will show continued improvement for a period beyond this. Many patients report the best improvement within two to three weeks. After this point, you will go through a dermal regeneration phase that shows continued improvement for months.
How long does it last?
Halo skin rejuvenation should last for many years, but it’s critical to continue protecting your skin with quality UV sunscreen to keep your new skin healthy. Each Halo treatment session you undergo will show continued results, further improving your skin.
How much does it cost?
Halo is a customized treatment plan. Depending on your unique needs, we may suggest one treatment or several over a period. We provide services to patients throughout Naperville, Bolingbrook, Aurora & Lisle, IL, and encourage you to call us for an evaluation and a price quote.
